August 1, 2011New Zealand made their mark at the 10th anniversary of Hip Hop International’s World Dance Championship held tonight at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The Kiwi Country took home the gold in the junior and varsity division and at last Friday’s MegaCrew finals.
Bubble Gum was so excited as they accepted their gold medals for the junior divisions that the first thing they want is a milkshake. The varsity team from New Zealand is Sorority. New Zealand dancers have krumped their way to the top, sweeping three gold medals at the 10th anniversary of Hip-Hop International’s World Dance Championship.
The dancers won three out of four categories in the competition in Las Vegas at the weekend.

Amazing feeling to be a New Zealander right now. Taking home a total of five medals! 3 – Gold, 2 – Silver! CONGRATULATIONS to The Royal Family for placing top 2 spots in each division and to LIL SAINTZ who came second and won silver in the junior division along with Bubblegum who placed 1st and got GOLD! Unfortunately The Palace crews were’nt able to sweep the comp and take home all gold medals for the night as ReQuest placed 2nd and won silver leaving a 0.13 point gap between them and the 1st place winners Plague from the UK! Still an amazing and inspirational night. Results below. THROW YOUR CROWNS UP!
